Atlee Scarf or Shawl Pattern

Atlee Scarf and Shawl

Materials Needed for Scarf:
2 Skeins Cobblestone Color 301 (approx. 306 yards) by fibranatura (or any size 3 yarn)
H Crochet Hook

Materials Needed for Shawl:
5 Skeins Cobblestone Color 301 (approx. 765 yards) by fibranatura (or any size 3 yarn)
H Crochet Hook

Stitches Used:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
bobble = bobble stitch (explained below)
sl st = slip stitch
yo = yarn over

Explanation of bobble stitch: Yo, insert hook in same st, yo, draw yarn through st and up to level of work 4 times in same st, yo, draw yarn through 9 loops on hook.

Foundation Row:
Ch 271 for Scarf
Ch 298 for Shawl

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across, turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first dc, * sc in next dc, ch 4, bobble in last sc made, sk next 2 dc; rep from * across to turning ch, sc in 3rd ch of turning ch, turn.

Row 3: Ch 4 (counts as tr), 3 dc in each ch-4 loop across to last ch-4 loop, skip next sc, tr in last sc, turn.

Row 4: Ch 3 (counts as dc), skip first dc, * skip next dc, dc in each of the next 2 dc, working over last 2 dc made, dc in last skipped dc; repeat from * across to turning ch, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch, turn.

Row 5: Ch 3 (counts as dc), skip first dc, dc in each dc across, ending with dc in 3rd ch of turning ch, turn.

Row 6: Repeat Row 2.

Row 7: Repeat Row 3.

Row 8: Repeat Row 4.

Row 9: Repeat Row 5. Do not finish off.

Row 10: Ch 1, turn. Sl st in each st (270 sts). Ch 20, sl st in ch 1 (large picot made). Sl st in next st, ch 20, sl st in ch 1. Repeat to end. Sl st up the other long side and repeat on the end as indicated above.

Finish off. Weave in ends. Enjoy!

The shawl is the same only repeat the pattern for approximately 20 rows. Do ends, top and bottom the same way as in the scarf.
